By now, I’m sure you have heard of the Clubhouse app. April 2021 is the anniversary month for the app, it has been one whole year since the app was released! 

Clubhouse is an invite-only, audio-based iPhone app. The company describes itself as “a new type of social product based on voice. It’s a place to meet with friends and with new people around the world—to tell stories, ask questions, debate, learn, and have impromptu conversations on thousands of different topics.”  

What makes Clubhouse Different?

Clubhouse allows you to show up exactly as you are to connect with others. Entrepreneurs all over the world are using the app to connect with one another, network, hire referrals, collaborate, grow their business, and grow brand awareness.

If you are in your pajamas, and still enjoying your morning cup of coffee, you can join in a room to chat with others because no one else knows except you.

The pressure to be picture-perfect before showing up disappears with Clubhouse. It’s built around genuine connections happening between the real people behind the phone with their voices.

You won’t be scrolling through newsfeeds with everyone’s highlight reels shared instead, you hop into rooms as yourself and others being themselves.

Okay, but why should an Entrepreneur use Clubhouse?

There are endless reasons why an Entrepreneur needs to be on Clubhouse.

You can hop into a networking room, raise your hand to speak to hundreds, and share information about your business or products/services. This is powerful because you can bring awareness to their problems and then provide the solution you have for them through your product/service.

Chances are they are already on Clubhouse. Find them and follow them! You will be alerted if they start rooms and you can join in as well to connect with them.

If you hear about Clubs when you are in a room that would be beneficial to you and your business, you can follow those to be alerted when those rooms start as well.

It’s not hard to find the right rooms, I’m suggesting that this app is the easiest social media app out right now to utilize as an Entrepreneur. Give yourself an hour a day, 3 hours a week, or whatever works for your schedule, and start showing up on Clubhouse. You won’t regret it.

It is by invite only but I bet you know someone that is already in the app that can send you an invite. Get them to send you the invite and then get your profile set up.
